Some graphics yield a white page when exported, some exported jpegs have a strange border line, importing jpegs with "place picture" does not work at all.
Hate the UI. For most customers, we recommend our normal edition — which uses in-app purchases to support free two-week trials, two levels of functionality (Standard and Pro), and upgrade discounts. We've had people use Graffle to plan plotlines for a story, make an overview of an operating system, show the evolution of computers, and even show how diseases can spread in a closed population.
on a NeXt station, then that became OmniGraffle frankly I miss the old versions. The conversion of Visio into Omnigraffle is a great way of moving Visio only stencils into Omnigraffle; I have at times only copied all the Visio shapes I need into a .vsd file, and than convert it into Omnigraffle, and create my actual diagram on the Mac with all the shapes I moved over - just an idea. It looks like Microsoft has taught a good lesson to many small software houses. Comparing with other products for Mac, like ConceptDraw, this product is easier in usage and it's not so complicated. I know I can get it straightened out but I am not happy with this. A little bit pricey, but worth every penny!
I will not upgrade! Now, if I want a fix for the bugs I also need a new license. Fully recommended. It's amazing.
I also use it to design spaces in my courses in college. Subscriptions give you the latest version of the app, enabling every feature on every platform (including Pro features)—with a lower cost up front and predictable spending in the future. Subscribe for our newsletter with best Mac offers from MacUpdate.Love this app. Unbelievable for 9 year old software and I tip my hat to Omni Group for making their software future proof.Love the capabilities, and they're probably worth the price. The new tools layout puzzled me for a long time until I quit the app.
Beautifully executed my only grievance is that OmniOutliner is not integrated into this program. Version 7.17: Personal Subscriptions — OmniGraffle now has support for (optional) subscriptions!
My only comment is that it seems very *slow*, even on my 667MHz G4 machine. They have made the ground-up for a user-friendly page creation application!! (Linux user). While the free download provides great benefits like a two-week trial and upgrade pricing, IAPs are unfortunately not eligible for Family Sharing at this point in time.I paid 272 USD for a 249 USD enterprise app and got a pro app.
I showed my boss what I had done with little ol' OG, and he cursed that he couldn't run it. Back to version 5.I use this for drawing flow charts and it is a breeze to use.
OmniGraffle Pro helps you draw beautiful diagrams, family trees, flow charts, org charts, layouts, and (mathematically speaking) any other directed or non-directed graphs.
It is extremely mac like and intuitive and functions more like the mac OS than any other prog i know (its only made for mac). No other app comes close. Unless I use it regularly I spend a lot of time looking up how to do things. See how Visio and OmniGraffle stack up against each other by comparing features, pricing, ratings and reviews, integrations, screenshots and security. fantastic program - thanksSeems like a nice program - lots and lots of options. Although advanced user would probably look for something with advanced features like ConceptDraw V.I am a network designer and I am amazed at how good this product is.
Much easier to use. Latest Version: 7.12.1. What does OmniGraffle 7 do? ver.6.5.1 now.As to the price, everyone should think about the benefit in a long run. Very intuitive.
Value for Money - 8/10; 7.7/10. it's just - omni! What's not to like about this wonderful piece of OS X software? Reported for being an ass.I was looking for a Visio-type program for the Mac and was very excited to find OmniGraffle.
