Harry and Macy are essentially Piper and Leo for this show , so the writers arent doing anything new Piper and Leo had plenty of drama in season 2 of the original show too.

And then every thing in that relationship moves fast.

Mel and Maggie manage to get through to Macy in the final hour and convince her they truly love her and never intend to abandon her.
