Pizza boxes, beer bottles, trash, etc. When we arrived around 8 PM (check in starts at 4) the room was completely used. There is a gas and lil grocery mart very near hotel. The room was very nice, coffee maker, microwave, and a mini refrigerator. You didnt get an access card...just use the pool entrance (needs a code)).

These "parking lot" sites are numbered 1-4, the balance are in the actual campground which does have trees and a brief walkaround seems like it would be fine although tight, or limited spots for large RVs. Also, they did not provide a code or card to enter access the building (thru the pool), so a longish trip around and thru the lobby with your laundry. We let the front desk know and they said they would take care of it really quick and have it done in about 10-15 mins.
Breakfast was still served bit brown bag grab and go style which worked just fine. The business-friendly Sawtelle Mountain Resort also features barbecue grills, a picnic area, and a fireplace in the lobby.
We noticed that the bathroom sink faucet had toothpaste spit all over it from the last guest. A good staff would have got hotel a 5 star rating. The actual room was okay, but they are not doing any replacement of linens, cleanings, etc. Guests can make use of the in-room microwaves and coffee/tea makers. The hotel staff were not helpful and knowledgeable about activities in the area so dont expect that.
