Everything looks good on the web and in Outlook (2010) on the desktops, but my iPhone 7 is not showing the shared calendar even after about 4 1/2 hours.

We don't really want to open up another email account for this.The sharing of the calendar will not add them to their phone you need the calendar sync or sharing the Ical file. The executives all want to be able to view and update the calendar on their Outlook desktop and on their Iphones. Add that mailbox to their phone and only sync calendars.
If you do it online it works beautifully.
