As of the 2010 census, the population was 7,125. The lush “Glen Canyon”—named by John Wesley Powell—once formed the eastern border; now the reservoir waters of Lake Powell cover the canyon. There were 2,237 households out of which 32.20% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.60% were married couples living together, 6.00% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.20% were non-families.
