We're a college town, and despite our large numbers, San Angelo definitely has a small-town feel.A small town where anyone can belong. Also, if you can find a niche in a neighborhood of friends and your children's friends, you will have a great social life. I feel that continuing this trend as well as bringing in more job opportunities for everyone would be a good way to continue to improve the town.

The housing markets and cost of living increase in price when the oil and gas industry is at a high but does not necessarily go down when the industry does. !I really enjoy the simple life style of San Angelo. The city does have growing to do based off of how quickly the college campus is growing. The only thing I would suggest is that the townspeople start to clean up sloppy looking neighborhoods and houses.It’s a smaller city, but with all the amenities you would need. There are many parks, and San Angelo has the largest water lily collection in the world. It's a beautifully, small town with some good sight seeing and beautiful, open, not over-crowded outdoor areas.Such a beautiful town! The bluffs is a nice neighborhood & you can easily get a home in the Bluffs for much less then that. The people are friendly and in a smally community almost everybody knows each other.I love San Angelo because it is a close community feeling, but it is a big city that has a lot of fun and enjoyable activities. We're moving to San Angelo in a month and will be looking to buy a home. Our police officers and fire department are very well ran and work on keeping the city safe! There are organized sports and activities for kids, parks, lake, and 2 swimming pools. Very many parks, lots of places to work. Niche requires Javascript to work correctly.
