"Julius 'Nicky' W. Arnstein was an American businessman, professional gambler, and con artist. Arnstein and Brice had two children, daughter Frances Arnstein Stark (1919-1992) and son William Arnstein (1921-2008) a graphic artist later known professionally as On May 16, 1924, having been convicted of conspiracy to carry stolen securities into the Arnstein remained out of trouble for the rest of his life. Brice’s frequent visits led Arnstein’s first wife to sue her for alienation of her husband’s affection, Brice had only recently learned that Arnstein was not yet divorced. Following his release Brice divorced him in 1927. He was best known as the second husband of entertainer Fanny Brice.
