Also, the The Pony Line Bar at the front of the hotel looks like a nice spot for drinks before/after a dinner.Amazing, quality ingredients, executed perfectly.
The attention to detail leaves you wondering if you ever going find anything that you could compare. They were able to mix a standard Manhattan without difficulty and had a great wine list. Walk-ins are easier at the Pony Line.I visited Buenos Aires for two weeks, and made a point to try as much of the authentic, local cuisine as possible in this time period, and Elena was THE BEST meal I had of my entire trip, and the best steak I have had in my entire life (I had the tenderloin, it was AMAZING!).
The service was seamless, I think I had three attentive and knowledgeable waiters/waitresses which included a My coworkers had like 5 steaks a piece while in Argentina, and the Wow! Just overall amazing food, presentation, attention to details, friendly and thoughtful (I traveled solo and the Host offered me two luxury magazines and daily newspaper to read -- I left feeling so informed!). You're going to have an amazing meal. Service tapered off as the evening progressed.The decor is really nice and servants can speak English. Both of them delicious, great ambience and excellent service. We stopped by for lunch, but at night, I imagine it's a very cool place to dine. What I discovered from my stay in this beautiful city is that they don't tend to use a lot of seasoning or sauces in their food (which isn't a bad thing, they let the quality of the meat/food speak for itself), but my American palette is used to food being over-seasoned and salty.

It was the best steak I had in my life- tender, flavorful & juicy. I recommend bookings and have a drink at Pony Line bar firstWe had inattentive waiters who didn't follow up on their guests - the starters weren't the right ones - and the steaks weren't fried as they wished - the side dish was burnt too much - it was as if the kitchen did send food...Mr Bechamstrup, I recommend getting a reservation as it can get very busy some nights.
